I'm Akeema. I grew up in Kingston, self taught designer, and spent the last ten (10) years shipping product across Caribbean fintech, B2B SaaS, and a couple of side projects I'm proud of.

My work tends to start in research and end in code review. I like flows that get shorter, copy that gets clearer, and interfaces that don't fail to be useful. I care a lot about who the product is for, especially when "who" includes people the rest of the tech world routinely forgets.

Right now I'm building Mirus Labs, a company that helps build great experience for Caribbean products whether it's a web/native app or website. I'm also open to senior or staff product roles or consulting.
